Broomball tournament
A tradition
For more than 45 years, the Broomball Tournament has been a major sporting event in the community of the Royal Military Colleges of Canada.
True to tradition, the Alumni of the CMR Alumni Association, in partnership with the CMRSJ Cadet Division, continue to plan and conduct this tournament annually.
It allows teams of cadets and former students to meet in an atmosphere that is both friendly and competitive. It is also an opportunity to create ties and discuss their experiences within the Military Colleges and in the Canadian Armed Forces.
2019 edition
The 45th edition of the Alumni Broomball Tournament is fast approaching. The official opening will take place on January 25 at 5:15 p.m. at the Vanier Pavilion. Come in large numbers and encourage your favorite team. Take the opportunity to see former colleagues or classmates.
The number of participating teams was limited to 30 this year. Of these teams, four will compete in the competitive category, six in the women's category and 20 in the recreational category. Succession is well assured since six teams from the CMRSJ and 12 from the CMRC are taking part. Come and see if the Nordic Commando, the Chicks with sticks and the Vaseux will be able to defend their title of champions successfully.

We welcome a new sponsor this year. Indeed, Le 125 is the property of Jean-François Lévesque, a CMRSJ alumnus. This completely renovated residence which offers rental rooms allowing the comfort of a home when traveling and on vacation. Located 15 minutes from Percé, you will find comfort there and will be able to observe Percé Rock from the suspended platform or even approach it on foot.
