This large-scale project aims to revitalize the north sector of the college, i.e. the family housing sector that overlooks old Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The first phase allowed the construction of the  Fort Saint-Jean gate. While the second phase focused in particular on the pedestrian alley, the Commandants' Square and the Museum Square.

In 2014-2015, the Fort Saint-Jean Chapter, in collaboration with the RMC Alumni Foundation and the RMC Foundation of Canada, set up an ambitious fundraising project. More than $150,000 was collected for the realization of the second phase. The inauguration of the Heritage lane was carried out during the  Homecoming weekend  in 2015.
